I have never tried to impersonate Satan before. He's not the kind of guy you want to model your life after. But in this message, I felt it would be very effective, to teach truth through the eyes of the most wicked being to walk the face of the earth: Satan.

I wore a hoodie that (unintentionally!) pointed up at the top which added to the effect. Behind me was an incredible design created by Zach DeYoung (see below) representing the eyes of Satan and eerie music set the stage for the first minute of the message. 

After the message, one guy said, "Seth, I hated you." Praise be to God. The effect took grip. 

Before I delivered this message I kneeled and pleaded, "Dear God, as I impersonate your greatest enemy, make it effective to teach these Christians. If this displeases You in any possible way, make me see that now. I want them to walk away seeing how utterly ineffective Satan is to stand against Your Word." 

The people's response was encouraging. Several later shared that they saw the devil's power yet inability in a light they had never imagined before. All praise to Jesus. I hope God uses this in your life too.
